Words from Tricia Ray

The last few months have been pretty challenging as we have been waiting for things to fall into place with our move to the new space in Subi. With the cafe being finally approved, we are all really excited about moving in this week. It's going to be a big job, however it'll all be worth it! I am totally amped for this year! I'm looking forward to what 2017 is going to bring for the Colosoul group. Coming into our 12th year, I am reminded of all...

Words from Callan Avis

Now that we are finally moving into our new space, myself and Amy can now start organising furniture for the Lepak office. When we saw what we had to work with, we realised that there wouldn't be enough space to be able to do what we really wanted to do with it. So, I have drawn up a design plan to try and utilise the space that we have. Amy and I are hoping that being in the new space means that we can start getting things on track with workshops,...

Words from Amy Pennington-Fryer

I've studied media for seven years now and as soon as I graduated from university I moved over to Perth from the UK. We wish you all the best Renee and hope you come back to visit us soon!  My experience at Colosoul has definitely been one of the highlights of my time in Australia. I enjoyed working with creative like-minded...

Words from Amy King

This is my first time in a leadership position which is a little scary, but I'm determined to give it my all and to learn what it takes to become a successful leader. I'm grateful to Colosoul for give me this chance, especially since I've struggled to get work within the arts and media industry for so long. Rejection can feel a bit demoralising...

Words from Micky

It's been three days since I shaved my head. In that time I ran an event, saw my boyfriend and his family and went to work. I can safely say that I'm sick of people randomly touching my head and my head is always cold. Even when it's hot, it's cold. I invested in flower crowns and a cat hat for the days when I don't feel alright with it. Yesterday was one and I work this black and red gothic day of the dead flower crown, to which a coworker told...
